Lydia received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas after having received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English from The University of Texas-Pan American.
After graduating from law school, Lydia worked as a prosecutor at the Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. After almost two years, Lydia left the DA’s Office to practice in the private sector. Lydia’s practice areas have included criminal law, employment law, insurance defense, probate law, family law, and personal injury law which is now her primary area of practice as an Associate with Loncar & Associates.
Lydia is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Hidalgo County Bar Association.
Lydia is also an active supporter of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life campaign.
