Valeri Malone received her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin University in 1996, and her juris doctorate degree from Texas Tech University in 1999.

While in law school, Mrs. Malone was a member of the John Marshall National Moot Court Team and a national semi-finalist. She was selected for early membership to the Board of Barristers, in which she was ranked first in her class. She also served as Chair of Appellate Advocacy for the Board of Barristers.

Currently, Mrs. Malone is licensed to practice in all Texas State Courts and Oklahoma State courts, as well as in Federal District Courts for
the Northern and Eastern Districts of Texas. She has been granted admission to appear in cases, pro hac vice, across the nation, from California to New York. Mrs. Malone was selected as a Texas Super Lawyer, Rising Star in 2007, 2008, and 2009, which was featured in Texas Monthly.

By Gubernatorial appointment, she also served as Chair for the Texas Board of Manufactured Housing, on which she previously served as a member.

Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Malone spent several years representing families and victims of explosions involving catastrophic burn injuries. Mrs. Malone practices in the
areas of personal injuries, catastrophic burn injuries, car wrecks, defective products, general negligence, and other accidents involving severe injuries.
